Wattlebank Merino Stud was founded in 1964. From 1971 to present, twenty six top Merryville stud sires have been purchased. In January 2000, thirty six CFA stud ewes were purchased from Merryville ewe sale and since then a further 700 have been purchased. These ewes and their progeny now form the ewe base of the Wattlebank Merino Stud. Wattlebank Stud is predominantly Merryville Blood with superfine and fine wool family’s in both horned and poll studs.

Wattlebank aims to produce a large framed animal with a good spring of rib, carrying a long stapled soft, well crimped, white high yielding fleece in the 17 to 19 micron range.

Glen Brothers are the recipients of the prestigious Grand Champion award at the 2019 Australian Fleece Competition.
